Six galleries trace tools from a struck stone to prompted language.
Project context
How can a long history become something a visitor explores rather than a wall of text? This bilingual single-page exhibition uses six metaphorical specimens and a logarithmically compressed timeline. It is an interactive editorial concept.
Key delivery
- Experience: a seal-stamp opening, interactive ember field, six galleries with specimens and observation logs, and a persistent timeline that doubles as progress indicator and navigation.
- Engineering choices: generate textures and embers with Canvas 2D; pause offscreen canvases; respect reduced motion; restrict the measuring cursor to precise pointers; persist the language preference locally.
- Delivered: a separately deployed bilingual exhibition with six navigable galleries and a direct entry from the portfolio. Audience and performance outcomes remain unmeasured.
